About the Business
We offer the use of manual wheelchairs, electric wheelchairs and mobility scooters during office hours for use around the town centre to enable you to shop and socialise independently. Please note: advance booking is recommended for all visits, as this helps avoid disappointment. If, however, a vehicle is available and you haven't made a booking, we will be only too happy for you to use it.
Members of the scheme are also able to hire, in blocks of up to 8 weeks, a wider range of equipment. A deposit will be required. Additional charges will be calculated based on the length of time the equipment is hired. We offer manual wheelchairs, light-weight manual wheelchairs, rollators and car-transport scooters (available in 4 week blocks).
