About the Business
Dragonmobility Ltd was formed in 2005 by Dan Everard, the designer of the first commercially available elevating powerchair, the Turbo, launched in 1984. He has combined his experience as the parent of a disabled daughter, Ruth, with his engineering expertise to create a modern range of elevating powerchairs for all ages. Ruth's experience using her father's designs shows how to turn an apparent calamity into a triumph of achievement. She is one of many people today who show the world what potential there is in the human mind and spirit, even when locked in a disfunctional body.
Our aim at dragonmobility is to do our part in giving people better and better means to express and demonstrate their potential. We know it isn't only a matter of technology, although we aim to find the best technological solutions for the problems of personal mobility, and apply them with great expertise.
